Attached to the boat was a bamboo grid with four square divisions. Two persons can fit on each square. Armed with our snorkels and masks we hanged on to the bamboo and the boat started to move gradually to the best snorkeling areas. It was two hours of hanging into the bamboo raft, just seeing what’s underneath us. It was a perfect show of colorful corals, huge and small underwater creatures, school of fishes and other marine life. The best snorkeling session I have ever experienced. Halfway the tour, we saw a huge sea hawks (pawikan) swimming in the open. Shortly after, another one showed, and then another. We saw three in all.
We were in the homestretch of the tour when something rare caught our attention, it was no less than a shark swimming in the sandy bottom. It was not alone, we counted five sharks in all. One even swam with us underneath. It was the first time I ever saw sharks and the feeling was surreal. 汇报一下最新情况:
我昨天从布桑加北面EL RIO Y MAR 度假村出来了，现在科隆镇上，继续待5天。
先说说el rio y may. 这是个标准的一岛一酒店式的度假村，虽然与大陆相连但没有公路，出机场只能坐度假村提供的接送服务先坐车再做20分钟船才能到。 整个度假村运营超过20年了，但是一切看上去维护的很好，所有人只要与客人有目光接触就会主动微笑打招呼，音乐是他们的特色:到达，离开，每天晚餐都有小乐队专门为每座客人弹唱，虽然硬件和早餐不是豪华酒店的标准，但这已经是当地环境下能提供的最好了。
整个度假村最大卖点其实是水面以下，（相信大部分人不会为了酒店硬件和早餐跑大老远来热带海岛），这里是内海，压根没有风浪，海面平静的像游泳池，这里停靠船的jetty下面就常驻一大批JACK FISH，所谓的JACKFISH 风暴大约每天下午4,5点钟在jetry下面就能看到，数量起码超过500条…你根本不需要游出去!!! 不过上午时间就没那么多，只有上百条小的jackfish而已… 在度假村的海面漂浮SPA平台下面还有一群约60-70条海狼鱼，随时都能看到。另外水面下珊瑚看得出曾经非常非常漂亮，但是死了很多，但剩下的我猜也足够满足偶尔去东南亚的一般的浮潜游客。
关于APO reef行程，早上5点从el rio y mar 边上的duhong潜店出发，晚上7点回来，船程来回7个小时，3次下水，包括中间早饭，午饭休息时间。船上有5个中国人是从镇上赶来的，他们凌晨2点起床，赶1小时中巴，坐20分钟船到店里，然后再和我4:30起床的一起5点出发，结果其中一个大叔只潜了一次就倒下了，实在太折腾哈。所以你想去APO REEF，最好住岛北面。作者: tonyzoo 时间: 2018-1-31 09:57
我在镇上一家叫Neptune dive center的潜店，称着空档再说一下岛北面跳岛的情况。
前几天跟着dugong dive center 去了CP和CP北面的dibuyoyan岛跳岛一日游以及APO REEF一日游。 CP不用说了很多人介绍过，我后面几天还会住到岛上，只说一点，这家度假村前年已经被几个在长滩开酒店的中国人合伙买下了，不是岛上的人只要脚踩到沙滩就得开始交钱~这也是为什么dugong dive center 没有继续和CP合作，因为他们被赶出来了，CP运营自己的潜店，等我回上海给上传价格清单照片，基本上翻了一倍不止。

- Dugong watching : Full day excursion along the bay of Busuanga, to meet our little and endangered mermaids… the Dugongs ! It’s nature and, as environmentalists, we do it the natural way (no feeding just wild in their environment) so we can’t guarantee the sightings but with the help of our eagle eye crew, we had accumulated a 80%+ rate of sightings over the years ! The first approach is by snorkelling and eventually, if the dugong do not shy away, we do scuba.
- Kyokuzan Maru Shipwreck : The World War II Japanese shipwreck, an impressive cargoship, with the best visibility of the area… and only 20mns away from El Rio y Mar.
- Apo Reef Marine Park : Our highlight ! The second biggest continuous reef in the world with an amazing reef teeming with aquatic life in crystal clear water (sharks, turtles, barracudas.…). We usual offer full day excursions with 3 dives. Apo Reef is also available on overnight trips up to 3 day but on full charter basis only *.
- Dimakya Island : Our magical reef that has been protected for more than 20 years where you can spot huge school of fish, turtles and many amazing macro life depending on the season
- Barracuda Lake : Definitely an experienced to be remembered with the underwater limestone cliffs formations & its dramatic temperature changes, letting you dive in waters up to 38°C !
- WWII Shipwrecks of Northwest Busuanga : If you are more into wreck dives, we can take you to a full day trip to the WWII wrecks Akutsushima, Taei Maru & Black Island
- Tara Island : Our must if you are a coral lover. Beautiful coral garden offering an amazing combination of soft and hard corals.
Since some dive sites are far out, such as Apo Reef which is 35 miles away, we have extra charges for the boat transportation depending on the distance and fuel consumption.
You can find attached the price list. If you feel like lost in the ocean looking at it, let me explain, just add Dives + Equipment rental if you have none + Boat transportation. Non Divers pay only the boat transportation (including Snorkel Guide).
Please note that two price lists are attached, one is for the resort of Cashew Grove, Riverhouse and Sandcastles. Our main dive shop is located in El Rio y mar and have the best dive facilities (for training especially), the price list differ.
Our prices are fixed and certainly on par with our years of professionalism, training (eg. regular renewal of CPR training of the crew…), maintenance (equipment, boats…), logistics & dive service. Safety & quality has its price. We are also proud to offer you dive sites untouched by other dive operators J As members of Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, we have been actively protecting our waters for more than 2 decades… and together with our experienced and properly licensed crew, we ensure you only get the best. If you are on a budget, we can however gladly refer you to other dive operators around mainland Coron/Busuanga.

*Live-aboard trips (mini-safaris) to Apo Reef Marine Park are offered on a full charter basis only. Many guests love the private charter and come every year for a combination of both Live-aboard and Resort. Some of our guests also choose a trip around the entire Busuanga to visit all wrecks, the Barracuda lake, and the 7 Islands Marine Park as well as Tara Island.
