Duties and Responsibilities<br />
•Ensures compliance with local laws and regulations affecting areas of assignment, most particularly on expats visa and permits.<br />
•Collect and monitors necessary pre-employment requirements.<br />
•Assist on the administration of new employees endorsed by recruitment, such as preparation, discussion and collection of pre-employment requirements, preparation of contracts.<br />
•Accommodates employees’ concerns/questions regarding HR matters especially involving benefits and policies.<br />
•Conveys or interprets written Human Resource policies, practices and procedures applicable to specific function area to expats staff. Develops communication program for assigned functional area.<br />
•Ensure compliance with Government regulatory requirements on: preparation and filing of Special Work Permit (SWP), Alien Employment Permit (AEP) and CEZA Working Visa (CWV), extension of tourist visa, spouse visa, background checks.<br />
•Conducts or participates in special projects as assigned.<br />
Job Qualifications<br />
•Must have at least Mandarin language skill and fluent in English.<br />
•HR-related work experience is an advantage.<br />
•Must be approachable, result-oriented, independent, assertive and able to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.<br />
•Must have a strong personality who can manage different personalities and can command respect.<br />
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<br />
•Must have good comprehension and analytical skills.<br />
•Respects the importance of confidentiality, as you will be dealing with employees’ personal details.<br />
•Must be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail.<br />
•Must be willing to work as part of the team.<br />
