<p style="color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;">　接下來就是等待2:00PM的製作椰子帽，這大概是我來巴拉望這一星期中最靜態的活動了，教我們的是一個潛水教練，外表真的看不起來他會作這種像似女人才會做的手工活。他跟我們說他只有一片椰子葉，所以只能做一頂，因為最近這一連幾天的大雨，導致很多椰子葉都太過潮濕，他解釋說並不是每片椰子葉子都可以製作成帽子，太乾不行太濕也不行。他還說製作帽子最需要的是耐心，因為他之前有教過很多住客，他們在製作過程中一直用斷葉片，導致要一直換一片新的重來。首先他幫我把葉子的根部削薄，為了可以簡單圍成一個圓圈，然後用釣魚線把它纏繞固定。接下來的步驟用文字敘述實在是太過繁雜，就留給大家有機會自己到愛妮島了解囉！我們整頂帽子的製作時間約花了４０分鐘，教我的老師一直稱讚我手藝和領悟力超好，都沒有用斷葉片，而且做出來的成品很好。我跟他說因為我在台灣也曾經是手工藝老師，所以本來就喜歡做些小東西。另外他也跟我說很多菲律賓和日本人都會用椰子葉做東西，但唯有椰子帽是El Nido Resort的長期員工才會做的，而且有些國家還不允許旅客把椰子葉帶入他們的領土，因為擔心椰子葉中有一些小蟲子，會改變他們當地的生態。
