Two Africans have been stranded at Terminal 2 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for almost two years. It's Johnson Emmanuel Josiah (42) from Liberia and Alain Njogho Acha (32) from Cameroon. They refused to go home for unknown reasons. Immigration agency spokesperson Dana Sandoval said she handed over custody of these two foreigners to the airlines. Sandoval said it is now the responsibility of the airlines to put them on the next flight to their country of origin. Their applications for asylum were rejected. Josiah arrived on April 21., 2019 via Philippine Airlines Flight PR-383 from Guangzhou, China. Acha arrived at NAIA Terminal 2 as a transit passenger from Bangkok, Thailand on April 4., 2019 Josiah was scheduled to leave via Kenya Air on October 4., 2019, but refused to board the plane and became unruly. Josiah and Acha live at NAIA Terminal 2 Transit Lounge and PAL has been taking care of them since they arrived.
